  • Mustard and cumin seeds - 1 tsp each
  • Coriander leave - 1 tsp chopped
  • Curd - 1 cup
  • Besan - 2 tbsps
  • Water - 1/2 cup
  • Turmeric - 1 tsp
  • Ginger and garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Green chilli - 1/2 tsp chopped
  • Onion - 1
  • Boiled potato - 2
  • Curry leaves
  • Garam masala
  • Oil
  • Sugar and salt to taste

How to Make Besan and Dahi Kadi

  • Heat some oil in a pan. Add mustard and cumin seeds along with onions and curry leaves.
  • When onions are reddish brown, add ginger and garlic paste along with green chillies, besan and boiled potatoes.
  • Take a separate bowl and add curd and water and whisk it with salt, sugar, turmeric and a pinch of garam masala.
  • Now add the dahi mixture to the pan.
  • Stir the kadi for 5 mins and it's cooked.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
