  • 100 gs-besan
  • 200 g-sugar
  • 1 cup-milk
  • 1 cup- ghee
  • 1 cup -desiccated coconut powder
  • 1 tsp- cardamom powder

How to Make Besan Barfi

  • Place a thick-bottomed pan on flame. Add besan and dry roast.
  • When besan turns light brown add sugar, ghee, coconut powder, milk, cardamom powder and mix well till it becomes a semi liquid.
  • Keep on stirring continuously for about 20 minutes.
  • Stop when the dish becomes solid and starts leaving the sides of the pan.
  • Remove from heat and pour the content on a greased plate and cut into diamond shapes.
  • Cool and serve.
