Ingredients

  • gram flour (besan) - 1 cup
  • grated coconut - 1 cup
  • sugar - 2.5 cup
  • ghee - 1/4 cup
  • green cardamom - 1/4 tsp
  • cashews, small pieces

How to Make Besan Coconut Cake

  • Fry 1 cup of gram flour with ghee . Keep aside. Fry 1 cup of coconut(optional) .
  • Take a tawa and dissolve sugar with 1 cup of water.
  • Keep stirring, when the sugar gets 2 strings, add flour and coconut to the sugar.
  • Add cardamom and cashews.
  • Keep stirring, transfer to a greased dish, spread the mixture and cut into desired shapes.
