Ingredients

  • besan (gram flour) - 5 to 6 tbsp
  • onions - 3/4 ( finely chopped)
  • tomato - 1
  • green chillies - 1
  • jeera - 2 tsp
  • mustard - 1 tsp
  • red chilli powder - to taste
  • 2 cups - water
  • coriander leaves

How to Make Besan quick mix

  • Heat oil in a sauce pan. Then add mustard, jeera and green chillies.
  • Add the cut onions and fry until they turn brown.
  • Add the finely chopped tomatoes and fry for few minutes.
  • Then add salt and red chilli powder (if necessary).
  • Finally add the besan mixed with water.
  • Boil until it thickens.
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves.
  • Goes well with rotis or pooris.
