  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tbsp - Maida
  • 2 tbsp - Onion paste.
  • 2 tsp - Ginger Garlic paste.
  • 2 tsp - Salt and Turmeric powder
  • 4-5 Bay Leaves
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon, cloves and cardamom, ground together
  • 1 tsp - dhaniya powder
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 - big Potato, cut into pieces.

How to Make Bhapa Dimer Muthia

  • Beat the eggs with 1 tsp of onion, ginger and garlic paste.
  • Put 1 tsp turmeric and bit salt. Mix all the things together with 1 tbsp maida.
  • A pinch of soda bicarbonate can also be added in it for fluffiness.
  • Add into a greased container and steam in a pressure cooker till done.
  • Heat a kadai with oil and fry the potatoes pieces and keep it aside.
  • After the eggs cool, cube it and fry it in oil till golden brown. Keep aside.
  • Add the ground masala, the powders, bay leaves into the oil and if needed 1 tbsp tomato puree can be added.
  • Fry till the oil leaves the masala.
  • Put the potatoes and pour one glass of hot water in it.
  • After the potatoes get boiled put the egg pieces in it.
  • Put 1/2 cup of hot water as these pieces will absorb the water.
  • Cook it in slow flame for 10 mins
  • Simmer it for 2-3 minutes and serve hot with Rice or Roti.
