Ingredients

  • Karela (peeled) - 1/2 kg
  • Onions - 3
  • Garlic - 1 piece
  • Green chilli - 2
  • salt
  • Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
  • Cumin powder - 1 tbsp
  • Mango powder - 2 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp

How to Make Bharwan karela

  • Slit the karelas lengthwise and peel out the inner stuff. Boil karelas in salted water.
  • Fry onions, garlic, green chillies and the peeled out stuff and put it all the spices. Fry them until they are fully cooked.
  • Put this filling into the boiled karelas.
  • Put oil in a pan and shallow fry the karelas.
