  • 1/2 kg - meat (cut and boiled)
  • 1 cup - beaten curd
  • 1/2 cup - meat stock
  • 250 g - onion juice (crushed onions)
  • 4 peeled and fried potatoes
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs
  • 25 g - cleaned and boiled charoli
  • 4 tbsp - ghee
  • 1 tsp - saffron (heated and powdered)
  • salt to taste

How to Make Bhoona Gosht Shajahani

  • Grind 10 red chillies, 1 tsp. turmeric, 3 green chillies, 8 cloves of garlic, 1" long piece of ginger.
  • Now heat ghee and fry the whole spices, add to it the ground spices and fry well.
  • Then add stock and meat, juice of crushed onions, salt, curd and saffron.
  • When gravy goes thick, add the potatoes.
  • Remove from fire and put into a dish with eggs.
  • Sprinkle charoli or chironji on the top.
  • Garnish it with sliced onions and tomatoes and serve lukewarm.
