Ingredients

  • Rice flour - 1 cup
  • Water - 2 cups
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves - a few
  • Green chillies - 2, chopped
  • Chopped onion - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to roast the rotis

How to Make Biyam Pindi Rotti (Rice Flour Rotis)

  • Heat 1 tbsp oil and season with mustard and curry leaves.
  • Add to the water. Add green chillies, onion and salt and place on fire.
  • When the water begins to boil, add the rice flour and cook, stirring, till the mixture forms a smooth lump. Allow to cool.
  • Take a little dough and flatten with wet hand into a round roti on a plastic sheet or a piece of banana leaf.
  • Transfer to a hot tawa and cook both sides with a little oil.
  • Use all the dough thus.
