  • 1 small bag - frozen black eyed peas
  • 1 - onion
  • a bunch - coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsps - coconut powder or fresh coconut
  • few - green chillies
  • 1 tsp - ginger paste
  • 1 tsp - garlic paste
  • whole garam masalas

How to Make Black-eyed pea kurma

  • Grind onion, coriander leaves, coconut, ginger paste, garlic paste and green chillies together.
  • Heat oil and add the whole garam masalas (few bay leaves, 3-4 cloves, 1 cinnamon stick).
  • Now add the ground paste and allow it to boil for a few minutes. You may add water if it is too thick.
  • Add the frozen black eyed peas to it.
  • Cook till it is done.
