Ingredients

  • Brain - 1
  • Green Chillies - 3 - 4
  • Coriander leaves - 1 small bunch
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1/2 tbsp
  • Garam masala - 1/2 tbsp
  • Oil or Ghee- 4 tbsp
  • 1- Small onion
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Brain Fry

  • Wash the brain well and chop into small pieces.
  • Grind the green chilli and coriander leaves into a paste.
  • Chop onion into fine pieces.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add the onion, saute until pink, then add the ginger-garlic paste.
  • Fry for 2 minutes.
  • Now add the brain pieces and green chilli/coriander paste.
  • Add salt and the garam masala.
  • Add 1/2 cup of water and fry for 15 - 20 minutes on medium flame until the water dries up.
  • Serve hot with parathas.
