Ingredients

  • 75 gms. Wholemeal flour
  • ½ tsp. bicarb of soda
  • 50 gms. Bran
  • 4 tbsp. honey
  • 25 gms. Melted butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 300 ml. milk
  • 100 gms Carrots, grated

How to Make Bran Muffins

  • Mix together honey, butter, eggs and milk.
  • Sieve all the dry ingredients into another bowl.
  • Mix in the milk mixture and stir in the carrots.
  • Spoon mixture into muffin cases and bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees C for 20-25 mins.
  • Serve warm with butter or allow to cool.
