Ingredients

  • 5 to 6 - slices of bread
  • 1 cup - fresh buttermilk
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying
  • Chopped finely and mixed together:
  • 1 onion and 1 tomato (medium size)
  • 2 to 3 - green chillies
  • fresh coriander leaves

How to Make Bread Uthappa

  • Heat non-stick tava, smear a little oil and spread a little onion-tomato mixture.
  • Take 1 slice of bread and dip it in the butter milk, squeeze gently and put on tava, smear a little oil, cook till golden brown, turn over and cook on other side till golden brown.
  • Serve hot.
