  • 1 kg - chicken, cut into pieces
  • 3 tbsp - Kashmiri chilli powder
  • 2 pinches - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • 1- lime (make juice from this)
  • 2 tbsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp - curd
  • 1-2 - eggs, beaten
  • bread crumbs - as required
  • salt to taste
  • oil - as required
  • a few mint and coriander leaves (chopped finely) for garnishing

How to Make Breaded Chicken

  • Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients, except the eggs, bread crumbs and leaves for garnishing. Leave overnight or for an hour at least.
  • Steam the chicken until cooked.
  • Heat oil in a kadhai.
  • Dip the chicken pieces in the beaten eggs, roll on the bread crumbs and deep fry.
  • Garnish with mint and coriander leaves. Serve hot.
