Ingredients

  • 1 cup - moong dal
  • 1 - small size broccoli flower
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1 tsp -mustard
  • 1 tsp- jeera
  • 2 - dried red chillies
  • 1 stem - curry leaves
  • 2 -green mirchis
  • 3 - 4 -garlic cloves
  • salt

How to Make Broccoli Dal

  • Pressure cook dal along with broccoli cut into pieces, green mirchi and garlic cloves.
  • After two to three whistles, remove the cooker from the stove.
  • Now for the seasoning, in a skillet heat oil and sputter mustard seeds and jeera.
  • Add dry chillies, curry leaves and the seasoning along with salt to the cooked dal.
  • Serve hot with chapattis or rice.
