Ingredients

  • 1 cup - buttermilk
  • 1 - small white pumpkin
  • 1 small bunch - palak
  • 3 tsp - coconut
  • 3 - red chillies
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • salt to taste

How to Make Buttermilk Kootu

  • Make a paste of coconut, red chillies and cumin.
  • Cut the pumpkin into small pieces.
  • Wash and cut the palak.
  • Cook them for 10 minutes in a glass of water.
  • After they are cooked, add the paste, salt and buttermilk.
  • serve warm.
