Ingredients

  • 1 cup - chopped cabbage
  • 3/4 cup - chopped onion
  • 1 cup - besan flour
  • 1/2 cup - rice flour
  • 3 - green chillies, chopped finely
  • 1 tsp - chopped ginger
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch of asafoetida
  • 1 tsp - garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  • Handful of curry leaves
  • Oil to fry

How to Make Cabbage- Onion Pakoda

  • Mix all the above ingredients.
  • Add enough water, just necessary to bind these
  • Drop these in small quantities in the oil kept in a kadai over medium flame. Fry to golden brown.
  • Drain on paper towel and then serve
