Ingredients

  • 1 kg - cabbage, grated
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Salt
  • 1/2 tsp - garam masala
  • 2 - onions, sliced
  • 4 - garlic, sliced
  • 10 gm - grated coconut
  • 50 g - vinegar
  • Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp

How to Make Cabbage sabji

  • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
  • When they start popping add the onions and garlic. Fry till golden brown.
  • Add chilli powder, turmeric and salt to this mixture. Then add the grated cabbage. Cover and cook for 5 mins on low heat. Take care that it does not burn.
  • Add vinegar, coconut and the garam masala. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Serve hot
