Ingredients

  • 1 small cabbage, chopped
  • 2 - onions, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - chopped, garlic
  • 3 cups - of water
  • 1 tsp - ground pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - chopped coriander leaves or celery.

How to Make Cabbage Soup

  • Boil all the ingredients except coriander leaves/celery in a large saucepan.
  • Allow to simmer for at least 20 minutes.
  • Transfer half of the soup to a blender or food processor and grind until smooth.
  • Mix this with the soup and reheat as needed.
  • Stir in coriander leaves./celery and add additional with pepper and hot sauce to taste.
