How to Make Capsicum Moong Dal Gothsu

  • Soak tamarind in water and extract the juice. Cook moong dal in a pressure cooker, mash it and keep it for later use.
  • In a pan, add oil followed by mustard, urad dal, channa dal and red chillies. Add chopped capsicum, tamarind extract,sambhar powder and salt.
  • Allow it to boil and wait till it reaches a thick consistency. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve with idli, dosa, pongal or upma.
