Ingredients

  • 4 - Carrots
  • 5 flakes - garlic
  • A small piece - ginger
  • Black pepper powder - to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - lemon juice.

How to Make Carrot and Ginger Soup

  • Peel the skin of the carrots, of garlic and ginger.
  • In a bowl add chopped carrot, garlic, ginger and add 1/2 cup of water.
  • Pressure cook till 3 whistles.
  • Once cool, remove the ginger and grind the rest in a mixer into a smooth paste.
  • Add 2-3 cups of water to this.
  • Boil and add salt and pepper.
  • Just before serving add lemon juice.
