Ingredients

  • 1 cup grated carrot
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp green chilli paste
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - jeera
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 cup cooked and cooled rice

How to Make Carrot Pulao

  • Put oil in a pan and splutter jeera. Then add ginger - garlic - chilli paste and fry for sometime.
  • Now add chilli powder, garam masala, grated carrot and fry again for sometime till it turns red in colour.
  • Add cooked rice and fry again for sometime.
  • Serve hot as is or with any raita of your choice.
