  • 500 g - Carrot (shredded)
  • 3 tbsp - Ghee (purified butter)
  • 1 can- Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 100 g - Sugar
  • Cardamom, Almond, Cashew nut, Pista for garnishing

How to Make Carrot Squares

  • Take 500 g of shredded carrot. Put shredded carrot in a pressure cooker for 5 to 7 minutes (3 to 4 whistle)
  • Allow the cooker to cool down for 5 minutes. Drain water from boiled shredded carrot.
  • In a non-stick pan, take 3 tbsp of ghee and add boiled shredded carrot into it, and keep it stirring for 10 minutes.
  • Add one can (300 ml) of condensed milk (sweetened). Keep on stirring the mixture for about 25 minutes
  • Add 100 g of sugar if you prefer to have the dish a little sweeter. Again boil it after adding sugar till such time it becomes pretty thick and it does not stick to the side of the pan.
  • Add one tsp of ghee if required. Put the mixture in a square pan.
  • Garnish the square with Almond, Cashew, Pista and Cardamom.
