Ingredients

  • Idli batter - 4 cups
  • Onion - 2
  • Curd - 1/2 cup
  • Carrot - 2
  • Chaat masala - 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Salt to taste
  • Sev for garnish

How to Make Chaat Idly

  • Make mini idlis.
  • Deep-fry till golden brown.
  • Arrange few idlis on a plate. Sprinkle chopped onions and grated carrots.
  • Spread a tablespoon of curd, pinch of chaat masala, chilli powder, pinch of salt and coriander leaves.
  • Garnish with sev and serve hot.
