  • 3 cups of rice flour
  • 1 cup of besan
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • Green chillies - 5 (finely chopped)
  • Coriander and cumin seed powder - 2 tsp
  • Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
  • Curd - 2 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Greased Chakli utensil

How to Make Chakali

  • Mix rice flour and besan with all ingredients.
  • Add a little bit warm water and make a soft dough. (Dough should be softer than the chapatti dough.)
  • Grease the chakali utensil and squeeze out chakali shapes.
  • Deep fry in oil on a medium flame till golden brown in colour.
  • Drain excess oil.
  • Serve with curd or butter.
