  • Channa dal - 2 cup
  • Sugar - 1.5 cup
  • Ghee - 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom - 5
  • Dry fruits - 2 tbsp

How to Make Chana Dal halwa

  • Soak channa dal for four hours
  • Grind the dal coarsely without adding water and cook the ground dal
  • Heat a vessel, pour ghee and fry the dry fruits and keep aside
  • In the remaining ghee mash the boiled dal and cook for 10 mins
  • Now add the sugar and cook for another 10 mins stirring occasionally.
  • Finally add the cardamom powder and dry fruits
