Ingredients

  • 2 cups - channa dal
  • 200 g - khoya
  • 1 tsp - cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp - melon seeds, peeled
  • 2 cups - powdered sugar
  • 100 g - ghee
  • 2 tbsp - chopped pistachios

How to Make Channa Dal Laddoo

  • Soak the channa dal for 6 hours.
  • Drain wash and grind to a smooth paste. Heat ghee in a kadai and roast the dal on low heat.
  • When the dal mixture leaves the sides and an aroma arises, remove from heat.
  • In another pan, roast khoya on low heat till light golden.
  • In 1 tsp ghee, fry the melon seeds and chopped pistachios.
  • Mix sugar and all the ingredients together with hand so that it is well mixed.
  • Take lemon-sized balls of the mixture and shape into laddoos.
