  • 500 ml - cow milk
  • 50 ml - fresh non-sour yoghurt
  • 2 sprigs - basil leaves, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup - makhana seeds, roasted lightly
  • 1/2 cup - sugar

How to Make Charan Amrit

  • Mix milk, beaten yoghurt, basil and sugar.
  • Stir with a spoon till the sugar gets completely dissolved.
  • Refrigerate it till required.
  • 15 mins before serving, add makhana seeds and stir.
  • Serve it cold.
