Ingredients

  • 1 cup - cooked rice
  • 1 bunch - fresh coriander leaves
  • 4 to 5 strings - mint leaves
  • 3 nos - green chillies
  • a pinch of hing
  • 1 cup - besan
  • 1/2 cup - curds
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying the pakodas

How to Make Chawal ke pakode

  • Mix rice and curds together and mix them well. Then add the hing and salt along with chopped coriander leaves and mint leaves as well as chopped chillies
  • Mix them well.
  • Then add the besan and mix it well. add water only if required.
  • Once the batter is made, add around 3 to 4 tsp of oil to it and mix well again.
  • Heat oil in a karahi. add tsp ful of the batter in it and fry on low flame till pakoras are golden brown.
  • Serve it hot with mint chutney.
