Ingredients

  • 100 g - cheese, grated
  • 200 g - breadcrumbs
  • 100 g - peanuts (roasted & powdered)
  • 1.5 tsp - powdered cinnamon
  • 1 tsp - pepper
  • 1/2 cup - chopped spring onions
  • 1" piece - ginger (chopped)
  • curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 3 - green chillies
  • breadcrumbs
  • beaten egg white for coating
  • milk and ghee

How to Make Cheese and Peanut Cutlets

  • Heat the oil, saute the onions, green chillies, ginger and curry leaves.
  • Add powdered peanuts. Cook for 2 minutes, then take off the fire.
  • Mix the breadcrumbs, grated cheese, salt, pepper and cinnamon.
  • Add the onion and peanut mixture and blend well.
  • Pour in enough milk to bind the mixture. Knead well and form into cutlets.
  • Heat the ghee, roll the cutlets in egg whites and breadcrumbs and fry till golden brown.
  • Garnish with fried onion rings and fried peanuts before serving.
