Cheese and Tortilla Pie is a wholesome Mexican dish that can be prepared with some yummy ingredients. Cheddar cheese, jack cheese, cottage cheese and sour cream add to the creamy texture of the pie.
The tortillas are layered first followed by grated cheese mixture. The spicy combo of tomato and green chilli sauce are poured over the layered tortillas and cheese mixture. A no-fuss, filling dish that can be relished anytime of the day.
Combine grated cheese, olives, green onions and eggs, reserving ½ cup cheese for topping. Combine cottage cheese and sour cream. In a greased casserole, start layering tortillas, cottage cheese mixture, and grated cheese mixture.
Repeat until tortillas and cheese mixtures are used. Combine tomato and green chilli sauces and pour over the top of the layered tortillas and cheese.
Top with reserved grated cheese. Bake covered at 350 degrees C for 40 mins.
