Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg boneless chicken
  • 2.5 tsp maida
  • 5 tbsp corn flour
  • 1 egg
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • A pinch of ajinomoto
  • A few drops of red color
  • Oil for frying
  • For sauce:
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 4 green chillies
  • 2 tsp soya sauce
  • 2 tsp white vinegar
  • 1.5 tbsp chilli sauce
  • a pinch of ajinomoto
  • few drops of red color

How to Make Chicken Chilli Curry

  • Wash and cut chicken into small pieces.
  • Mix flour, corn flour, salt, pepper, and ajinomoto.
  • Beat the egg and add to the flour mixture. Blend well, till there are no lumps.
  • Add the red colour and put the chicken pieces into the mixture and marinate for 15 minutes.
  • Then deep fry in hot oil till done.
  • For the sauce:
  • Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan.
  • When the oil heats up, add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies finely cut.
  • Saute for a couple of minutes.
  • Now add the sauces, vinegar, ajinomoto and red colour.
  • Cook the sauce for a few minutes on a low flame.
  • Add the chicken pieces. Cook on low flame till the sauce completely coats the chicken pieces.
