Ingredients

  • 2 - chicken breasts
  • 1 chicken for stock
  • 2cm piece - ginger
  • 1 small tin - cream style sweet corn
  • 1.5 tsp - ajinomoto
  • 1 tsp - sherry or brandy
  • 1 tsp - corn flour for thickening
  • 1 - egg, well beaten
  • 1 tbsp - garlic juice
  • few drops of lime juice
  • For serving :
  • soy sauce
  • chilli sauce
  • chopped green chillies, soaked in vinegar

How to Make Chicken Corn Soup with brandy

  • Boil chicken with ginger.
  • Add sweet corn, brandy, and ajinomoto to stock and simmer.
  • Add shredded chicken with a little corn flour.
  • Add garlic juice and a well-beaten egg.
  • Garnish with chicken pieces and a few drops of lemon.
  • Serve hot with soya sauce, chilli sauce, and chopped green chillies soaked in vinegar.
