Ingredients

  • Chicken joints - 750 gm
  • Tomato - 1 cup, chopped
  • Mustard oil - 3 tbsp
  • Onion - 1 cup, sliced
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 3 tsp
  • Green chillies - 2, slit
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Chicken Curry (Murgi Jule)

  • Heat oil in kadai. Fry onion till light brown.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry till fragrant.
  • Add tomato and continue to fry till tomatoes are pulpy.
  • Add chicken, green chilli, chilli and turmeric powders and salt.
  • Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add about 1.5 cups of water and simmer till the chicken is cooked.
  • Serve hot with steamed rice.
