Ingredients

  • 1 kg - chicken, cut into medium pieces
  • 2 - cinnamon
  • 8 - cloves
  • Salt
  • Vinegar
  • To grind (masala):
  • 2 - medium onions
  • 6 - medium green chillies
  • 1 - ginger
  • 6 cloves - garlic
  • 1 tsp - cumin
  • 8 - pepper corns
  • Mint leaves

How to Make Chicken Curry with Green Masala

  • Boil the chicken pieces in 3 cups of water, salt, cinnamon and cloves, for about 1 hour, till the meat is cooked.
  • Grind the masala.
  • Heat the ghee, fry one onion (sliced), then put the meat and its gravy, masala with its water, vinegar and if required additional water to make curry.
  • Simmer for 15 mins
