Ingredients

  • 1 chicken
  • 60 gms - flour
  • 60 gms - corn flour
  • 100 gms - tomato sauce
  • 100 gms - onions
  • 1 bunch spring onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 30 ml - chicken stock
  • 15 ml - oil
  • 1 small piece ginger
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 30 gms - corn flour (for gravy)
  • 2 pinches ajinomoto
  • Oil for deep frying.

How to Make Chicken in garlic sauce

  • Debone chicken and cut into cubes.
  • Make batter using both flour and corn flour.
  • Add chicken and coat well. Drain.
  • Deep fry chicken cubes.
  • When crisp remove.
  • Heat oil and add crushed ginger, garlic and sliced onions.
  • Then add tomato sauce, stock and seasoning.
  • Add corn flour blended with a little cold water.
  • Cook till gravy thickens.
  • Add fried chicken cubes and remove.
  • Serve hot.
