  • 1 - Chicken
  • 1 cup - Pineapple cubes
  • 1 tbsp - Wine
  • 3 tbsp - Soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp - Sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp - Cornflour
  • 1 inch - Ginger
  • 1/2 cup - Pineapple juice
  • 2-3 - Celery sticks
  • Sesame oil for frying
  • Chopped parsley

How to Make Chicken Pineapple

  • Deep fry whole chicken until brown.
  • Place in a bowl, add sliced ginger, sugar, wine, soya sauce.
  • Steam until tender.
  • Remove bones and cut chicken into small pieces.
  • Place on a dish and keep warm.
  • Mix pineapple juice with chicken stock.
  • Blend in cornflour.
  • Boil, stirring until mixture thickens.
  • Add pineapple cubes and celery and pour over chicken.
  • Garnish with parsley.
