Ingredients

  • 1 kg - chicken
  • 1/2 kg - small onions
  • 15 - red chillies
  • 125 ml - oil
  • Curry leaves
  • 1/2 cup - grated coconut

How to Make Chicken Vepudu

  • Clean chicken and chop it finely.
  • Cut the onions into half.
  • Pour oil in a kadai and add onion. Saute.
  • Add red chillies and curry leaves and saute well.
  • Then add finely chopped chicken and close pan with a lid.
  • Then add 2 cups water. Stir occasionally.
  • Let the gravy thicken.
  • Add coconut and saute for a few minutes.
  • Serve hot with rice.
