Ingredients

  • Chicken - 250 gm, minced
  • Broken wheat - 2 cup
  • Hard boiled eggs - 2, chopped
  • Ghee or oil - 4 tbsp
  • Onion - 1/2 cup, chopped
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Green chillies - 2 to 3, chopped
  • Tomato - 1/2 cup, chopped
  • Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp, chopped
  • Mint leaves - 2 tbsp, chopped
  • Fried onion slices - 1/2 cup
  • Cloves - 2
  • Cinnamon - 2 pieces
  • Cardamom - 2
  • Water - 5 cup
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Chicken with Broken Wheat

  • Heat ghee or oil and add cloves, cinnamon and cardamom.
  • Add onion and fry till light brown.
  • Add ginger garlic paste. Fry till fragrant.
  • Add green chillies and tomato.
  • Fry till tomato is soft.
  • Add chicken mince and broken wheat.
  • Add water and salt and simmer till the dalia and chicken are cooked.
  • Serve garnished with coriander, mint, eggs and fried onion.
