  • Chicken (cut into strips) - 250 g
  • Garlic pulp - 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Tomato paste - 2 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Fenugreek leaves - 1 bunch
  • Fresh chopped coriander - 1 tbsp
  • Water - 1 cup

How to Make Chicken With Fresh Fenugreek

  • Bring a saucepan of water to the boil, add the chicken strips and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, mix the garlic, chilli powder and salt with the tomato paste.
  • Heat the oil in large saucepan. Add the tomato paste and spice mixture.
  • Add the chicken pieces and fry for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Add the fenugreek leaves and fresh coriander and continue to fry for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Pour in the water, cover and cook it for about 5 minutes and serve hot with rice or chapattis.
