Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast pieces and legs
  • 100 to 200 gms - plums
  • 100 gms - almonds
  • 25 gms - butter
  • 2 tbsp - honey
  • 8 ounce - water/chicken stock
  • 1.5 tsp - lemon flavored pepper
  • saffron - 1 pinch
  • 1 cinnamon bar
  • 1 or 2 chopped onions
  • 1 tbsp - sesame seeds
  • salt to taste

How to Make Chicken with Plum and Almonds

  • Fry chicken pieces golden brown in butter.
  • Season with lemon-flavoured pepper and salt.
  • Ground saffron, dissolve it in warm water and add to the port.
  • Add cinnamon.
  • Turn the pieces in the stock so they get beautifully yellow.
  • Add chopped onion, and let simmer under lid.
  • Add stone-free plums and honey.
  • Fry sesame seeds and skinned almonds in a dry pan and strew to deco the food.
