  • 500g - plain flour/maida
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - baking powder
  • 200g - butter or margarine
  • 200g - shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1/2 cup - sour curd or yogurt
  • oil for frying

How to Make Chilli Cheese Sticks

  • Mix all the ingredients and chill in a refrigerator for 2 hours.
  • Then take out of the refrigerator and leave out to attain room temperature.
  • On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangular shape about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Cut the dough into 3-inch strips about 1/4 inch wide.
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep-fry the strips until golden.
