Ingredients

  • 300 g - paneer/tofu (crumbled)
  • 3 big - tomatoes (finely chopped)
  • 1 big - onion (finely chopped)
  • 3 - green peppers (finely chopped)
  • 1/4 bunch - cilantro/coriander (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp -lemon juice
  • 1 tsp - red pepper powder
  • 1 tsp - dhania powder
  • 1 tsp - jeera powder
  • 1/2 tsp - jeera
  • 1/2 tsp - garam masala powder
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1 cup - hot water
  • a pinch of turmeric
  • salt

How to Make Chilli Paneer with Tomatoes

  • Heat oil and fry the jeera and onion until done. Add the paneer and fry for 5 minutes.
  • Add all the remaining ingredients, except water, and fry for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add water, cover and cook until the tomatoes are soft and the water has evaporated.
