Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - minced meat
  • 2 tbsp - soya sauce
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 spring onion
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1 tbsp - sherry
  • 1 tsp - sugar
  • 1 tsp - corn flour
  • 2 cm piece ginger
  • Oil for deep frying

How to Make Chinese meat balls

  • Mince the spring onion and ginger.
  • Mix all the ingredients together with the meat.
  • Mix well and make small balls.
  • Heat oil for deep frying till smoky and drop the meat balls into it one by one.
  • If necessary do it in two batches.
  • When the balls are golden brown on all sides, remove from oil and drain.
