  • 225 gms. soft margarine
  • 225 gms. plain sifted flour
  • 50 gms. icing sugar
  • 50 gms. cornflour
  • 1 tbsp. cocoa powder
  • Icing sugar to dust
  • 12 paper cake case
  • 1 piping bag

How to Make Chocolate Swirls

  • Put the butter in a large bowl and mix until smooth with a wooden spoon.
  • Sift the flour, icing sugar and cornflour into a bowl and mix well.
  • Take half the mixture out and put in another bowl.
  • Beat the cocoa into the second bowl.
  • Put the paper cases in a bun tray and pipe a swirl into each case.
  • Bake on the middle shelf of the oven at 180 degrees C for 12-15 mins.
  • Remove tray from oven using and sprinkle with icing sugar.
  • Serve cold.
