  • 3 cup - cooked medium grain rice (basmati or sona masoori)
  • 3 cup - milk
  • 1/2 cup - sugar
  • 1/4 cup - butter
  • 2 - cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tsp - vanilla extract
  • Ground cinnamon powder
  • berries and whipped cream (optional)

How to Make Cinnamon Rice Pudding

  • Combine rice, milk, sugar, butter, cinnamon sticks and vanilla in a 2-quart saucepan.
  • Cook over medium heat until thick and creamy, 20 to 25 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Remove from heat; remove cinnamon sticks and top with whipped cream and fresh assorted berries, if desired.
  • Sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
