  • 2 cups mashed bananas
  • 4 egg whites
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 200 gms. fresh cream
  • 1 tsp. grated lemon rind
  • 2 envelopes gelatin
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 sliced banana
  • Few sliced cherries

How to Make Cloudy Banana

  • Soak the gelatin in water. Whip the cream till thick with 2 tbsp. sugar.
  • Mix banana, lemon juice, rind, 3 tbsp. sugar and salt well together.
  • Heat gelatin and stir till dissolved, add to bananas and mix well. Leave to cool.
  • Beat whites stiff, add remaining sugar and beat well.
  • Fold into banana mixture.
  • Fold in the cream. Chill until firm.
  • Decorate with banana and cherry slices and serve.
