Ingredients

  • 6 - egg whites
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • Coconut - 1.5 cup
  • Vanilla essence - a few drops
  • Cherries for decoration

How to Make Coconut Macaroons

  • In a heavy bottom pan, put egg white and sugar and place over low flame.
  • Stir continuously till sugar melts, remove and keep aside. Then add grated coconut and mix well, till it becomes thick.
  • Make desired shapes and place a cherry in the centre and arrange in a baking tray.
  • Pre heat oven for 5 to 10 mins, then place baking tray in it and bake till it turns light golden brown.
  • Remove and store in air-tight containers.
