Ingredients

  • Plain flour - 500 g
  • Instant yeast - 6 g
  • Water - 250 g
  • Sugar - 100 g
  • Butter - 50 g
  • For Filling:
  • Shredded coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar to taste

How to Make Coconut Roll

  • Knead flour, fermented yeast, water, sugar and butter into a smooth dough
  • Leave it to rise for half an hour
  • Divide into two parts, roll it out with a rolling pin into rectangles
  • Mix coconut and sugar and spread this on the rectangles. Now roll up the rectangles like swiss roll
  • Steam this in high heat for 15 mins
  • Serve by cutting into slices
