Ingredients

  • 2 - eggs
  • 2-3 tbsp - sugar
  • 1 tbsp - instant coffee powder
  • 1/2 cup - full cream milk
  • 1/2 cup - icing sugar
  • 1/2 cup - thick fresh cream
  • 1/3 cup - chopped walnuts

How to Make Coffee Walnut Ice cream

  • Beat egg yolks with sugar till thick and pale.
  • Dissolve coffee powder in hot milk and pour over the yolks, beating all the time. Cool and chill the mixture.
  • Beat egg whites stiffly. Fold in the icing sugar.
  • Whip the cream over a bowl of ice and fold into yolks mixture. Fold in the egg whites. Place in freezer. When 1/2 set, beat till fluffy. Fold in the walnut pieces and freeze till firm.
