  • 1 loaf - large sliced sandwich bread
  • 500gm - boiled, mashed potatoes
  • 100gm - fresh green peas
  • 50gm - chopped onions
  • 1 - green chilli
  • 100 gm - fresh cheese
  • 10g tomato paste
  • 10g - salt
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp - red paprika
  • 2 tsp - black pepper
  • Fresh coriander leaves
  • Vegetable oil for deep frying

How to Make Continental Bread rolls

  • Trim the edges of the loaf.
  • In a bowl, mix all the ingredients.
  • Wet one bread slice with water and press to remove excess water.
  • Put a spoonful of filling into the centre of bread slice, fold the bread in the shape of a roll.
  • Deep fry these rolls until they are golden and crisp.
  • Serve warm with a spicy chutney or tomato sauce.
